I'm not sure, but I think between the two versions (west coast and east coast) marksman rifles for the Marines, one of them is either a rebuilt 14 or a 16 rebuilt for a 7.62 caliber.
In British forces, a soldier may get a marksman qualification, but unless he is trained as a sniper, he is just a normal soldier with an SA80.
