Desmond Howard (born May 15, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a former American football wide receiver and kick returner in the NFL.
Howard is also known for his diving grab on a 4th down and 1 yard to go play against Notre Dame.
Howard's performance as a receiver was viewed by many as a disappointment, recording just 92 receptions in his first 4 seasons, and recording more then 30 receptions only once in his entire 11 season career.
