		Destiny executives said the turbines are a demonstration project to show the public how renewable energy can be used to reduce the use of fossil-fuel energy.
		Destiny USA, the company that is adding a 1.3 million square foot addition to the Syracuse mall, is reserving 68 close-in parking spaces for "green vehicle parking only." Signs -- made from recycled plastic -- were put up today around the mall to designate the spaces.
		Destiny executive David Aitken said the green vehicle parking is part of the company's effort to increase awareness of environmentally friendly technologies.

		DestiNY USA is the Pyramid Companies of Syracuse, New York's project to turn its Carousel Center, also in Syracuse, into the largest entertainment complex in the country, even surpassing Minnesota's Mall of America.
		This complex is to be known as DestiNY USA, and plans for it were first made public in April 2000.
		There have been constant struggles with the city, county, state, and federal government for tax relief and financing to make this project a reality.
