Thor (Marvel Comics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thor often battled his evil adoptive brother Loki, a Marvel character adapted from the Norse god of mischief, and was a member of the superhero group the Avengers.
In Marvel Comics, Thor is a childless bachelor, except in an alternate history where he and Amora the Enchantress have a child, Magni.
In Marvel Comics, Loki is blonde, is not mentioned as being a god of fire, is the brother of Thor rather than a blood brother of Odin, and Balder is a friend of Thor's and a fellow warrior; Loki suffers no eternal punishment.

Destiny (Irene Adler) was a Marvel Comics character, known as an adversary of the X-Men.
Mystique and Destiny formed the second Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, a group of ideologically-motivated terrorists and eventually went to work for the United States government as Freedom Force in exchange for a pardon and protection from anti-mutant sentiment.
Destiny's name comes from Irene Adler, a Sherlock Holmes character and the only woman to ever get the better of the detective (And, at the same time, the woman who comes closest to being the love of Holmes' life, as he often refers to her as the woman).

Freedom Force (comics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Freedom Force was a supervillain team in Marvel Comics' universe, though they occasionally acted heroic as well.
