Detlef Schrempf (born January 21, 1963 in Leverkusen, West Germany, now Germany) had a 16-year career as an NBA basketball player.
Schrempf moved to the USA his junior year of high school, attending Centralia High in Washington State for two years.
Schrempf established the Detlef Schrempf Foundation in 1996 to benefit local charities.
