Marketing studies have been initiated for three additional lines: a Blainville line extension over CP to Mascouche, north of Montreal; a route over CN to Repentigny, northwest of Montreal on the north bank of the St. Lawrence; and a route over CN to Varennes, northeast of Montreal, on the river's south bank.
This plan has served as a blueprint for AMT's present service expansion.
