Dianne Brushett (born October 11, 1942 in Bath, New Brunswick) is a Canadian politician.
Brushett is a member of the Liberal Party of Canada and a former Member of Parliament in the Canadian House of Commons, representing the riding of Cumberland—Colchester from 1993 to 1997.
Brushett is a cancer survivor and lives in Truro, Nova Scotia.

I can't imagine how anyone would think Brushett would win in 2004, when the Conservative vote is united and the Liberals are clearly on the ropes nationally, after losing in 1997 and 2000, when the reverse was true.
Brushett is well-known and respected throughout the riding, and a lot of people want to see what Paul Martin can do with a mandate.
The Grits are running Dianne Brushett yet again; she won in 93 but lost in 97 and 2000, so even bigger chance that Casey will be returned to Ottawa.

Dianne Brushett, Member of Parliament for Cumberland-Colchester, on behalf of the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Secretary of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Veterans) announced today the establishment of the Colchester Park Development Society (CPDS), an organization mandated to pursue new growth opportunities for the greater Debert and Colchester County area.
The CPDS will be headed by a Board of Directors who will work with various partners in identifying new uses for the base.
With the onset of World War II, the Department of National Defence purchased thirty square miles of land to establish an Army military camp and an RCAF flying station at Debert.
