Karl DiedrichBader (born December 24, 1966) is an American actor.
Having a deep and easily-recognizable voice, Bader is a natural choice for a voice actor and has had roles in such animated features as Ice Age, The Simpsons and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
All of these roles had Bader altering his appearance in some way so as to be less recognizable.
Bader and his family returned to the United States in time for him to enter high school, and he later attended the North Carolina School for the Arts.
Bader won the role of cheerful but slow-witted Jethro Bodine, and his performance was one of the comic highlights of the film.
Bader's success on The Drew Carey Show led to notable supporting roles in motion pictures, such as Office Space and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back; he also began doing voice work for a number of animated television projects, including Pepper Ann, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Kim Possible.

Spheeris soon thereafter gave the actor even greater exposure by prevailing against producers who wanted a bigger name when she cast Bader as Jethro (and his sister Jethrine) in the feature version of the outlandish 1960s sitcom, "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1993).
In 1995, Bader was cast as Oswald, one of the lead's somewhat dim-witted friends, on the ABC sitcom "The Drew Carey Show," remaining on the series through its final season in 2004.
