Topic: Diet Sprite

 PRdomain.com | Coca-Cola| Coca-Cola to introduce Diet Sprite™
The creation of Diet Sprite is the Coca-Cola Group s response to the increased diversification of Japan s soft drinks market in recent years under which consumer preferences towards carbonated beverages have changed.
Diet Sprite retains the extreme invigoration, refreshing feeling and dry after-taste of Sprite but with the guarantee of zero calories per 100ml serving, making the drink perfect for those who want to feel nice and refreshed.
And for Diet Sprite marketed in PET containers, Coca-Cola uses a clear PET bottle to reveal the clear color of the contents and promote the beverage s simple and pure image even more strongly.

Sprite was certainly a candidate for pumping up the volume a couple of years ago.

Sprite=s two votes in column six are awarded to Dr. Pepper because Dr. Pepper was the second choice of those two people.

The Harvard Crimson :: Opinion :: Dartboard
Diet Sprite is the holy compromise soda for Dartboard—it offers the opportunity for guilt-free, zero calorie consumption, an opportunity to avoid caffeine while still drinking something sweet and bubbly, and most of all, a replacement beverage for those who hate the plain, non-taste of cold filtered water.
It used to be that only two dining halls were without Diet Sprite at their taps, and Dartboard would often see people turn their Nalgenes from water to Diet Sprite, smiling as they avoided dorm room dehydration.
Dartboard hopes Diet Sprite will be saved, but for the moment, the profound lack of the tasty, caffeine-free beverage in the dining halls remains one more reason to feel despondent eating a meal at Harvard.

Sprite (soft drink) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
People who are feeling sick often choose to drink Sprite, believing that it "settles the stomach" due to the high amounts of carbonates and bubbles (though this has not been scientifically proven).

While Pepsi Twist was launched regionally in 1999/2000, Diet Coke with Lemon didn't show up until the summer of 2001.

CarbWire - Low-carb diet may cut heart risks in severely obese
Preliminary research led by Dr. Prakash Seshadri of the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center suggests that a low-carb diet can help severely obese people improve their cholesterol levels, and may curb markers of inflammation better than a reduced-fat diet.
In obesity, the body tends to be in a state of chronic inflammation, and this inflammation is believed to conspire with others factors--including high cholesterol--to promote the hardened, narrowed arteries that can lead to heart attack and stroke.
Low-carb diets have been shown to cut excess pounds, but whether they reduce inflammation in the body has been unknown.
