		The ability that Koetter has historically had to successfully develop and utilize quarterbacks was taken to a new level in 2005, thanks to the impressive performances by junior Sam Keller and redshirt freshman Rudy Carpenter, who combined for all but 43 of a single-season ASU record 4,481 passing yards.
		Koetter's vision for the program also continues to take shape as he has put a player leadership council and a character-building curriculum in place to build team leaders and help the Sun Devils achieve their goals of excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
