		Soon after its formation in late 2003, Dirty Sweet got a roaring start as the sole support act for the Jimmy Eat World tour, playing 1,500 to 2,000 capacity venues fresh out of the starting blocks.
		Upon returning to San Diego, the members of this bluesy rock 'n' roll band (guitarist Mark Marino, drummer Chris Vanacore, vocalist Ryan Koontz and bassist Shaun Cornell) were welcomed with open arms by a platoon of fans who had heard rumors of their true arena-rock sound.
		Soon thereafter Dirty Sweet was returning the gesture, playing a sold-out benefit show for the victims of the 2003 San Diego Firestorm, with headliner Puddle of Mudd.
