Disassembly -- Facts, Info, and Encyclopedia article   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-09)
In (Creating a sequence of instructions to enable the computer to do something) computer programming, the disassembly is the result when (A set of instructions coded so that the computer can use it directly without further translation) machine code is translated back into (A low-level programing language; close approximation to machine language) assembly language.
Most of the useful information, like variable names, is stripped during (A group of persons gathered together for a common purpose) assembly and can not be recovered during disassembly.
Results can be greatly improved with an intelligent (Click link for more info and facts about disassembler) disassembler, which can have a (Click link for more info and facts about symbol table) symbol table hand written to control the process.

Distinct effect of actin cytoskeleton disassembly on exo- and endocytic events in a membrane patch of rat melanotrophs ...
While the disassembly of the actin cytoskeleton diminishes the size of unitary endocytic events, suggesting an important role of the actin cytoskeleton in determining the size of endocytic vesicles, the coupling between exocytosis and endocytosis in a given patch of membrane was independent of the state of the actin cytoskeleton.
Furthermore, the analysis of amplitude histograms of exocytic events revealed that the distribution of amplitudes was similar in controls and after CST treatment, indicating that the disassembly of the actin cytoskeleton did not preferentially stimulate the fusion of large hormone-containing secretory granules (not shown).
This suggests that the disassembly of the actin cytoskeleton distinctly affects exocytic and endocytic mechanisms, and that mechanisms that regulate the balance of exocytic and endocytic events for the small vesicles are very probably distinct (i.e.

 Design for Disassembly
Although most products can be disassembled eventually, lengthy disassembly does not make for economic recycling as the cost of disassembly is likely to be much larger than the revenue gained through recycling the parts and materials from the product.
From the list above it can be seen that disassembly plays an important role not only in enabling parts and materials to be removed for recycling but also enabling reconditioning, refurbishment, re-manufacture, repair and service of the product and components extending their useful life.
The guidelines I have developed are concerned with disassembly for recycling but can be used (with the addition of extra guidelines) for disassembly for re-manufacture or reuse.
