	ONE-MILE-WIDE ASTEROID TO PASS CLOSE TO THE EARTH IN 2028
		After the discovery observations on December 6, observations made by two Japanese amateur astronomers during the following two weeks showed that the minimum distance between the orbits of 1997 XF and the earth was very small.
		Observations made on March 3 and 4 by Peter Shelus with a 30-inch telescope at the McDonald Observatory in western Texas extended the observed arc of 1997 XF to 88 days.
		The observations, on 1990 Mar. 22 and 23, were consistent with each other and allowed a much improved orbit to be derived for 1997 XF These latest computations show that the nominal miss distance will be 600 thousand miles on 2028 Oct.

		Discoveries of six small asteroids (defined at right) were announced in the last seven days, another nine were tracked, with some critical extensions in observation arcs, and the radar observation of one more was reported from late July.
		Two discoveries came from LONEOS in Arizona, two were made with the Spacewatch 0.9m telescope in Arizona, including one by an FMO Project online volunteer, and LINEAR in New Mexico found two.
		The MPC Last Observation page is showing that TF10, along with 2004 TN1 and 2004 TL10, was caught this morning by Farpoint Observatory in Kansas.
