The purpose of the District Committee is to promote the principles of the Republican Party, to elect Republican candidates to public office, and to inform and assist elected Republican officials.
The appointed officers shall be appointed by the Chairman subject to confirmation of the District Committee and shall serve at the pleasure of the Chairman.
The Executive Committee shall act for and have the general power to administer the affairs of the District Committee between meetings of the District Committee; provided, that all of its actions shall be in conformity with the policies, programs and instructions of the District Committee.

The process began as the district technology coordinator established a set of district technology goals for students, based on the national technology goals, which were to be accomplished, by the students throughout their K-12 experience.

Our committee was responsible for presenting the unit to the fifth grade teachers, as well as, training them on the programs they would be required to teach.

The Historic District Review Committee (HDRC) is a seven-member review committee appointed by the Board of Supervisors and charged with maintaining the architectural and historic integrity of Loudoun County's Historic Districts.
The Historic District Guidelines are an adopted part of the county's Zoning Ordinance, and relate only to the exterior appearance and the siting of structures on a property.
Committee members are appointed at large by the Board of Supervisors and serve three-year staggered terms.

Committee members shall receive training so they can advise the principal on the development of an effective educational program and plan that will raise the achievement of disadvantaged students.
Members of the community who are elected to the committee shall have no special eligibility requirements other than the requirement that they live or spend the major portion of their work day within the attendance boundaries of the school (Board Rule 1370).

 University District Education Committee
The University District Education Committee (UDEC) is a collaboration of educators, parents and citizens working to improve the education of children and youth in the 13 public schools which serve families living in the neighborhoods around the Columbus campus of The Ohio State University.
The committee was formed under the auspices of the University District Organization and Ohio State's Campus Collaborative.
UDEC is composed of principals and teacher representatives from the 13 schools serving students from the University District and of representatives of Columbus Public Schools, the Columbus Education Association, Ohio State, and the University District neighborhoods.
