 Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF)
At present JKLF is established in all the Districts and Tehsils of Azad Kashmir, in Gilgit, Diamer and Skardu Districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and in the main cities of Pakistan.
In August 1990 almost the entire JKLF leadership was arrested, and in September 1995 Yasin Malik and some of his associates revolted against the Central Organisation and floated a parallel group.
In March 1996 37 JKLF members, comprising almost the entire leadership of the political and militant wings of JKLF, were killed by Indian armed forces.

In consonance with these declarations, in October 1956 the Constituent Assembly adopted a constitution for Jammu and Kashmir, which declared (contrary to the security Council’s Resolution of March 30,1951) that “the State is and shall be an integral part of the Union of India”.
Indian fluctuating stance was openly observed when the State of Jammu and Kashmir had become a part of the Union of India by virtue of the so-called Instrument of Accession.

In Rajouri and Poonch districts, 464 and 446 civilians were respectively killed, they said and added Udhampur, Jammu and Kathua districts saw the deaths of 438, 251 and 24 civilians respectively.
