The Reserves won their division (coached by John Zinghini) as did the U/14(A's) (coached by Grant Riches.) Exciting youngster Stacey Stocco won selection and the captaincy of the Australian U/17's.
Adelaide City Women's S.C. was the only women's club from outside Canberra to be represented  all of the other women's teams were representative sides.
In the Junior divisions the under 13's were premiers and the under 16's and under 10's were runners-up.

Adelaide Crapsey was born on September 9, 1878, in Brooklyn Heights, New York, the third child and second daughter of the Rev. Algernon Sidney Crapsey (1847-1927), an Episcopal clergyman, and Adelaide Trowbridge Crapsey (1855-1950).
Adelaide Crapsey lies buried within sight of the University of Rochester Library in the Crapsey family plot in Mount Hope Cemetery, her ashes in an urn given by her college classmates.
Adelaide Crapsey's "immortal residue," her poetry, strong in its integrity and fastidious in its construction, has proven all too mortal in its susceptibility to neglect and carelessness.

 The 32nd 'Red Arrow' Infantry Division in World War II - 32nd 'Red Arrow' Veteran Association
When the Division was called up, it was basically the same “square” division that it was during World War I. It was centered around the 125th and 126th Infantry Regiments of the 63rd Infantry Brigade from Michigan and the 127th and 128th Infantry Regiments of the 64th Infantry Brigade from Wisconsin.
The 32nd Division's 57th Field Artillery Brigade was comprised of the 120th, the 121st and the 126th Artillery Regiments of the Wisconsin National Guard.
As a result, the 125th Infantry Regiment was detached from the Division; and the three existing artillery regiments (120th, 121st and 126th) were converted into four battalions (120th, 121st, 126th and 129th; three battalions of 105 mm howitzers and one battalion of 155 mm howitzers).

Adelaide Villa Soccer Club was founded in 1974 when it was first formed under the direction of the Altavilla Sports and Social Club known as Metropolitan.

The club faired well in their first season in Division 2 and H Rossi back playing 1st team was voted the Division 2 Best and Fairest and A Di Troia equal runner-up.

Initial support for a new RACI Division covering Medicinal and Agricultural Chemistry came from the RACI Division of Physical Chemistry under whose auspices the First Australian Conference on Molecular Design and Structure-Activity Studies was held at the Victorian College of Pharmacy in May 1981 as part of the Centenary Celebrations of the VCP.
The success of these meetings was the basis of the formal proposal for the formation of the Division of Medicinal and Agricultural Chemistry which was unanimously approved by the RACI Council on 24 May 1983.
Together with the Australian Academy of Science, the Division sponsored a Boden Conference on Biomolecular Design and Development at Thredbo in February 1988.

It’s remarkable that we hold nine out of the 12 seats and it’s an enormous tribute to the quality of all of the Federal Members from South Australia and none of them here today will argue with that proposition.
But it is amazing and three seats in particular of Makin and of Adelaide and of Hindmarsh have been held by their respective members often against the tide and it’s a tribute to their marginal seat skills and I record that very warmly.

To determine the effectiveness of an outreach respiratory nurse in a shared care approach, with collaboration between general practitioners and hospital services, in the management of patients with severe COPD.
Patients with severe COPD attending The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide participated in a randomised controlled trial of a home based nursing intervention (HBNI) over 12 months with outcome measures including mortality rate, hospital service utilisation, FEV1 and health related quality of life (HRQL) using a modified Dartmouth Primary Care Co-operative Quality of Life questionnaire.
There were 48 subjects in each study arm, with no differences in mortality rate (eight deaths in the HBNI group and seven in the control group), hospital admissions, length of stay, number of outpatient and Emergency Service visits.
