The Division of Paterson is an Australian Electoral Division in the state of New South Wales.
The Division was proclaimed at the redistribution of January 31, 1992.
This recreated the former Division of Paterson (1949-84), which was abolished at the redistribution of October 11, 1984 and had similar boundaries.

The Electoral Division of Paterson is one of the 15 electorates or 'seats' in the Tasmanian Legislative Council (upper house).
The divisions uses much of its western border as the South Esk River, its Southern border is Illawara Road and the entrance to Perth.
Paterson was created in 1999 after the size of the Tasmanian Legislative council was reduced from 19 members to 15.

Paterson had been appointed to the Canadian Senate in February of 1940, much of the decision-making and day-to-day operations of the firm were turned over to his sons, Donald and John and hence, July 21, 1950, the firm was renamed N. Paterson & Sons Limited.

Fire destroys not only property but lives as well, and the Division, subscribing to the philosophy that prevention is the best line of defense, maintains a forceful program of public safety education with the use of our mobile fire safety smokehouse during school functions and community gatherings throughout the year.

This move was not without controversy, as Paterson and his assistant Duncan Shearer were each supposed to have agreed a five-year contract with Caley Thistle not long before their departure to the Dons.
Paterson and Shearer left Aberdeen after around eighteen months and Paterson's most recent managerial post was with Highland League side Forres Mechanics, which he left in the summer of 2006.

Paterson, NJ The Passaic County Juvenile Drug Court will use grant funds to implement a post-adjudication drug court for nonviolent, juvenile offenders ages 14 to 16 who have a demonstrated level of alcohol and/or drug abuse.
The grantee will coordinate this effort with the following agencies: the New Jersey State Judiciary, the Passaic Vicinage Family Division, the Passaic County Youth Services Commission, the Police Athletic League, and the public school system.
The drug court will implement the juvenile drug court software system, which was developed by the Buffalo, NY drug court and is available for use by other drug court programs.
