		Dizzy Up the Girl is an album by Goo Goo Dolls, released in 1998 on Warner Bros.
		"Dizzy" was released as a single, peaking at #9 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart on January 5, 1999.
		This was originally written for the soundtrack of the 1998 film City of Angels, but it was later included on Dizzy Up the Girl.

	Ralphy's CD Reviews: The Goo Goo Dolls - CD Dizzy up the girl
		Songs like "Slide", "Dizzy", "All eyes on me", "Hate this place", "Broadway" and ofcourse "Iris" are up-tempo beauties and slower songs like "Acoustic #3" and "Black balloon" are also thoroughly enjoyable and even the rougher Takac-songs have a certain edge to them.
		It sounds rougher around the edges than "Dizzy up the girl", but I don't really see a drastic change in style between then and now.
		"Dizzy up the girl" sounds poppier, but "Superstar Carwash" isn't a heavy alternative or punk record either.

		What makes Dizzy up the Girl so special is that it doesn't just have that new sound that is what really made Goo Goo Dolls super-popular (first hinted at in A Boy Named Goo, but not fully realized yet), but that they also put all the great songs together into a nearly perfect album.
		Dizzy: A very hard rocking riff leads us off and then the chorus comes in which arguably has my favorite guitar riff John has written.
		My 3 favorite songs are Dizzy Up The Girl, what a great fast paced song that keeps you moving through the whole song, Slide and Iris, which is my favorite song on the whole Cd.
