The periodic table of the chemical elements, also called the Mendeleev periodic table, is a tabular display of the known (Any of the more than 100 known substances (of which 92 occur naturally) that cannot be separated into simpler substances and that singly or in combination constitute all matter) chemical elements.
First created by (Russian chemist who developed a periodic table of the chemical elements and predicted the discovery of several new elements (1834-1907)) Dmitri Mendeleev, the elements are arranged by (An elementary particle with negative charge) electron structure so that many (additional info and facts about chemical properties) chemical properties vary regularly across the table.
However, Mendeleev plotted a few elements out of strict mass sequence in order to make a better match to the properties of their neighbours in the table, corrected mistakes in the values of several atomic masses, and predicted the existence and properties of a few new elements in the empty cells of his table.
