		The Dodge 400 was Dodge's second K-car in the early 1980s.
		The 400 was introduced in 1982, but the Dodge 400 was replaced by the midsize Dodge 600 just one year later.
		The 400 was available in both 2-door and 4-door versions; it was also Dodge's first convertible since the 1971 Challenger; then-Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca believed he could revive interest in convertibles, which at the time were no longer part of any major manufacturer's range.

		The a 44-year-old Tennessee native piloted his No. 40 Coors Light Dodge -- dead last in the starting lineup -- to his second victory of the season Sunday at the Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 NASCAR Winston Cup race at Darlington Raceway.
		It was the third victory of the season for Dodge and gave Dodge a 36-31 lead over Ford in the season-long manufacturers standings.
		Dodge's next shot at a Winston Cup victory will be in the Food City 500 Sunday at North Carolina's Bristol Motor Speedway.
