		Portage Township is a charter township in Houghton County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
		Portage Lake is the eastern boundary in the north and the township extends well south of Houghton to the Baraga County line.
		Dodgeville is a small unincorporated community located at 47°05′39″N, 88°34′52″W, about two miles south of Houghton.
