No one claimed her by the 14th so the dogcatcher came by the house to have me sign the adoption papers.
I was standing on the front porch with the dog on her retractable leash where she didn't go running out to meet and jump on the dogcatcher.
This morning the dogcatcher comes by to see how I'm doing and to have me sign the adoption papers where the dog is legally mine.
