Clackmannanshire - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Clackmannanshire (Siorrachd Chlach Mhannainn in Gaelic) is one of 32 unitary council regions in Scotland, and a Lieutenancy area, bordering onto the areas of Perth and Kinross, Stirling and Fife.
As Scotland's smallest historic county, it is often nicknamed "The Wee County".
The image of the traditional county inaccurately shows a detached part of Stirlingshire that lies locally in Clackmannanshire as being part of Clackmannanshire.

Dollar was the first 18-hole course in the county, its layout completed by Ben Sayers, who thought the contours and trickiness of the greens did not require bunkers.
