The Dollie Radford Papers, 1883-1910, document the literary career and various aspects of the family life of the Radfords.
The diaries are primarily those of Dollie Radford, beginning from May 1883, the year in which she married Ernest, through the tragic years of his mental breakdown.
A small printed-book collection accompanies the papers, consisting of some of the published volumes of poetry by Dollie Radford as well as some of the published volumes by her husband.

In this short literary related letter, Kipling responds to H. Allingham, the pseudonym of Helen Paterson Allingham, author, artist, and illustrator, mistakenly identifying her as 'Sir'.
Most noted for her illustrations in The Homes of Tennyson (1905) and The Cottage Homes of England (1909), Kipling is undoubtedly refering to Allingham's recent work co-editing (with Dollie Radford) the diary of her husband, the Irish poet William Allingham.
The book, William Allingham: a Diary (1907), contained many interesting reminiscences of Tennyson, Carlyle and other famous contemporaries.
