		Desperate times call for desperate measures, as the cliché goes, and the main purpose of the Tank Police are to make sure that a crime doesn't happen every 35 seconds.
		The Tank Police will surely be able to stop the thieves and unravel the mysteries, but they'll blow up lots of stuff along the way.
		DOMINION is not a show for Shirow fans, at least not the ones who enjoy his cerebral-tinged books.

		Her chance shows up promptly when on her first patrol run behind the controls of the boss' 25 foot steel monstrosity, she happens upon a crime in progress, the notorious criminal Buaku and his beautiful-as-they-are-deadly henchmen, the cat sisters Annapuna and Unupuma are busy running from a theft at a mysterious research hospital.
		Now the Tank Police are out looking for their kidnapped rookie, who's trying to escape, and the cat sisters are looking for their boss, who is trying to figure out what this painting has to do with his mysterious past and why it seems so important to him.
		In all, Dominion is an anime classic, and is worth a look if you enjoy light, wacky (and occasionally a bit sadistic) comedy with an occasional dose of convoluted plot and philosophy.

	AAW: Dominion Tank Police Review
		Dominion is an anime classic with a little bit of everything: lovable characters, fun action in abundance, silly humor in all the right places, and (true to Shirow form) a really convoluted plot.
		Not to say that Dominion is the best of the lot, but it captures his comedy-sprinkled drama and the feel of the original manga version very well, despite some significant changes to the story.
		In all, Dominion is well worth a look if you enjoy light, wacky (and occasionally a bit sadistic) comedy with an occasional dose of convoluted plot and philosophy, though the second half of the story is a bit slower and more philosophical than the first, so come prepared.

		First off i may help to explain the relation of the OAV's to Dominions story as a whole.
		as yet at least), which some discount from the other Dominions as a "parralell universe" but i personally think still fits into the over all theme of Dominion, though it should be though of as being set upto a few years after the last OAV, there is much shuffling of characters and Tanks.
		Anyway, other than what i have outlined above the first dominion OAV's (Acts 1-4) style reminds me alot of the dark squalid streets of Blade Runner and it seems apparant to me that the landscapes of Dominion Tank Police takes some influence from the film.
