Domino Movie Review (Keira Knightley) Empire Movies   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-02)
Domino and her cohorts Ed Mosbey (Mickey Rourke) and Choco (Edgar Ramirez) are hired to retrieve the money but the assignment soon turns into a bloody gunfight with some bombs, a severed arm, a trailer park shoot-up, a hyperactive reality TV producer (Christoper Walken) and a very quick but still satisfying glimpse of Keira's breasts.
In the movie, a bloody and beaten Domino is being interrogated by an FBI agent (Lucy Liu) as she somewhat recalls her involvement in the shootout but the movie also touches on Domino's childhood, her teenage and college years and her eventual recruitment into the world of bounty hunters.
The movie jumps around a lot and has some crazy camera work but to tell you the truth, it really didn't bother me. I found the action in the movie to be decent and well-paced enough that the camera work was the least of my worries.

She was often on set as technical consultant for the movie, and although there were many reports that she was upset with her portrayal and the liberties taken by Scott in the movie, she was delighted with the movie and resented the reports of conflict.

Domino (2005) Movie Review - The Hollywood News
Domino is the latest hyper kinetic offering from director Tony Scott, and the best praise I can offer up, is that the erratic, stylistic choices made to tell this story of real life bounty hunter Domino Harvey don’t distract from the film as they did in Man on Fire – they are the film.
In spite of the fiction that was written in and around this film - Domino goes near the top of the “life is stranger than fiction” file and let the record show that this woman and her story are real and sadly she died just a few short months ago.
Domino might draw comparisons to a number of other pictures including Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers and Scott’s own take on the Quentin Tarantino scripted True Romance, but it doesn’t capture the satire of the first or the energy of the latter.

Domino Movie Review at Hollywood Video
Domino is a convoluted and hyper-stylized bore, a frenetic pastiche of fl comedy, bullet-strewn violence, and pulp fantasy.
Very loosely based on the short, colorful life of Domino Harvey, a Ford model/bounty hunter whose father was movie star Laurence Harvey (The Manchurian Candidate), Scott's film is a sub-par Quentin Tarantino wannabe with all the edginess of a dull butter knife.
The movie tries so very hard to be hip and cool, but like the tattooed, adrenaline junkie heroine played by Keira Knightley, this overly long and poorly plotted flick mostly comes across as a poseur in a swirl of faux grit.
