Orchard's ideas don't have a place in the Party, the ideas of D'Arcy McGee, Georges Etienne-Cartier, John A. Macdonald, the ideas of these men who founded the Party don't have a place in the Party, it would be very difficult for me at that point and for people who are following me. Mr.
Orchard's views represent a substantial part of the population and a significant part of the Conservative Party and they will be taken into consideration and then, of course, I'm in for the long haul.

Harper and party interim council chair Don Plett announced on Parliament Hill today that a policy convention will be held at the Palais de Congres in Montreal from March 17 to 19.
Plett said a policy development process will begin in October which will seek grassroots input from individual members of the party.
Harper spent much of the election campaign trying to present a moderate Conservative party to voters, while at the same time having to explain or denounce some of the social conservative views expressed by individual Conservative MPs in media interviews.

PWHCE: Discord in the Australian Democrats
The scope for such a new political party began to be harnessed when a Victorian Liberal Party Federal backbencher, Fraser critic and former Cabinet Minister Don Chipp resigned from the Liberal Party in March 1977.
The eloquence of Chipp's speech (in which he criticised both the Whitlam and Fraser governments) and the publicity that it generated was such that the momentum was created with which Chipp could facilitate the establishment of a new, avowedly centrist political party.
Nonetheless, I admire Chipp's personal integrity and acknowledge the positive tradition that he bequeathed to the Australian Democrats in terms of its respect for parliamentary processes and the role that this party has played in enhancing the Senate's function as a house of review.

Senator Don Chipp may well be right when he claims that his Party could gain the balance of power in the Senate after the next Federal elections: we agree that this could happen.
But we wonder whether Senator Don Chipp really thought this when he was a Liberal Party Minister: circumstances alter cases.
We are interested in his idea that..."no Ministers be appointed from the Senate": Senator Chipp's idea being, of course, to free Senators from Party pressure.

If you come to the conclusion that you certainly want to be evil, don't forget to take the NPC you hate most down to hell with you.
Low reputation doesn't matter a bit if your other party members are evil too, in fact it's rather difficult to keep it low, because evil motivation can lead to good results in the eyes of others and thereby to unwanted rep points.
An evil party will usually have less than six members, to be precise you'll probably have a four member (PC, Korgan, Edwin, Viconia) party in SoA and maybe a five member party in ToB.
