Sweeney's work eventually led him to the conclusion that pursuing the project was not in the nation's best economic interests for at least another three decades.
Sweeney has risked reprisals and his professional reputation to alert the public to this potential waste of taxpayer dollars by coming forward publicly to spotlight the abuses he witnessed within the Army Corps of Engineers.

I've always suspected that something was a bit off in regards to the checking ability of these 2 defenseman.
IMO, Sweeney is the most devasting body checker in the league - he'll take out basically anybody at will.
Bourque is very good at body checking, but not as good as Sweeney.
