For 15 years he played fiddle and guitar with the incomparable and intercontinental Don Walser.
The musicians in that band were superb and at various times included Ernie Durawa, Reese Wynans (from Stevie Ray Vaughn), Terry McBride (from the Ride), Larry Nye, Frosty, Carl Hutchins, Steve Mendell, and Nick Connelly.
