Donald Curry (born September 7, 1961) was a Fort Worth fighter, called the 'Lone Star Cobra'.
Curry was riding on top of the boxing world in December 1985, when he added the WBC title to his chest of laurels by beating Milton McCrory in the second round.
Curry had his moments early on, but in the fifth round, a left hook from McCallum sent Curry reeling to the canvas, and Donald could not beat the 10 second count.

He and his brother Donald were popular celebrities in Dallas during the early to middle 1980s.
Bruce Curry retained his title by a knockout in seven rounds over Hidekazu Akai in Japan, and, on October 19, with a split decision in a rematch with former world champion Haley, also in Las Vegas.
Curry was subsequently found incompetent to stand trial and he was sentenced to spend time at a mental hospital.

I found in the 1930 PA census for Luzerne County, Borough of Duryea, a Peter Curry who was apparently born in Iowa about 1878.
I know for sure that he had moved to Pittston,PA before 1910 or 1911 b/c that's when his first wife died.
