Donald first appeared in the Silly Symphonies cartoon The Wise Little Hen on June 9, 1934 (though he is mentioned in a 1931 Disney storybook).
Donald was redesigned in 1937 to be a bit fuller, rounder, and cuter.
Donald's sister is named Della Thelma Duck, but neither she nor Donald's parents appear in the cartoons or comics except for special cases, like The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck.

D.U.C.K. is the acronym (little word) Don Rosa writes in his stories on the "splash" panel (=the very first panel in the story) - except in his first two stories though, where he instead wrote it on the last panel.
Donald Duck was always more popular than Mickey Mouse years ago when people were more interested in reading, and more interested in the character of the personality of the character.
In Donald Duck & Co (Norway) it was called Skrues Liv, in Kalle Anka & Co (Sweden) it was called Farbror Joakims liv and in Anders And & Co (Denmark) it was called Her er dit liv, Joakim.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Donald and Gladstone disguise themselves as maharajahs at almost every opportunity, but it isn't known whether the place-names they toss off in such cases as their "homes" are real places in the ducks' world.
In only one case (WDC 103) does Donald disguise himself as the rajah of a place that in the ducks' universe is real (Backdore).

Well, aside from the fact that I solved it in about six hours, this game was wonderful (and it may have gone quicker if the game control was a little less picky).
The coolest thing about the game is that the designers clearly had a real appreciation for the Duck Tales universe, and the appearance of the locations.
If you have a Dreamcast and you are a fan of the Duck Tales stylings, or Donald Duck in general, you should really look into playing through the game once.

This Donald Duck story, reprinted from Walt Disney's Comics and Stories 44, May(?) 1944, is perhaps the most famous chemical comic book story ever.
When Donald Duck helps nephews Huey, Louie and Dewey with their chemistry set, he is beaned by a flying flask and turned into "Professor Donald Duck, the Mightiest Chemist in the Universe!" Donald invents Duckmite, which he uses to power a rocket to the moon.
Among Donald's "chemical talk" is one of the first mentions of methylene, CH, which was included as footnote 19 of the paper "The Spin States of Carbenes," by P. Gaspar and G. Hammond, which appeared in Carbene Chemistry, edited by W. Kirmse, Academic Press: New York, 1964!

While I applaud thier efforts to break down the comic book universe, They've not given me any evidence of what their science says about superpowers or the evidence of comic book science and devices in that universe.

A much better explanation comes from the Marvel SAGA game - that 'superhero plasma' in the marvel universe is a very low, basic yet still powerful manifestation of cosmic energy.

Captures the look and feel of Donald Duck's universe impeccably, and delivers a solid, fun, gorgeous platform romp the way folks like it--with style.
Children will enjoy the lively adventures of Donald Duck, and some of those who enjoyed the "DuckTales" animated series and are looking for a comical Disney romp will want to pick this up.
An enjoyable (but extremely short) reminder that appealing characters in good games aren't made, but come together well when mixed with a team of programmers that care.
