	Bio : Dondi Ledesma
		Dondi Ledesma : started playing the bass at the age of 12 when he bought his first electric bass guitar and joined a high school band with his friends during the early 70's in Iloilo city his home province.
		Dondi is now based in Manila still doing some more recordings as DNDI while playing with friends and doing some session work as bassist.
		Dondi's bass playing is generally self-taught though he started all the playing from basic guitar from friends and other musicians.

		In the summer of 1980, Dondi participated in a project called "Esses Studio." It was a two-month endeavor in which the top artists of the time were invited to paint canvases in a studio setting.
		Dondi was also a regular on the downtown club scene, frequenting "The Roxy" and "Negril," the first clubs to introduce hip-hop music to down-towners.
		Dondi was lovingly referred to as "The Style Master General," as it was commonly accepted that he was the artist who set the standards for graffiti art in his time.

		Dondi's pieces from this period are unsettling and nervy.
		Ultimately, Dondi fell victim to the crisis of AIDS that had grown up and flourished alongside his beloved culture, and in this regard he was as much a victim of New York as he was an exemplar of the city's wide-eyed, rags-to-riches possibilities.
