	Donkey Kong Junior - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		He is the son of the original Donkey Kong and first appeared in the self-titled arcade game.
		In addition, Nintendo previously referred to the current Donkey Kong, in such games as Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Brothers, as "Mario's oldest rival." Thus, Cranky Kong did not seem to be canon as being Donkey Kong as far as Nintendo was concerned.
		This was contradicted in Mario Superstar Baseball, however, which said that the original Donkey Kong is an ancestor of the current one (without explicitly stating the nature of this ancestor, except that he didn't wear a tie.)
