As you should know by now, this website runs under the (correct) supposition that Donna Troy, a separate entity from Wonder Woman, first premiered in WW #123 and not years later with the first appearance of the Teen Titans, as is so commonly (and incorrectly) cited.
Donna was listed as the younger sister of Wonder Woman, who'd managed to escape from evil Themyscira and now taken the name "Power Girl" instead of "Wonder Girl" to escape possible trademark infringement with the JLA.

Byrne might have found a formula to explain both the nature of the Donna Troy character and the rationale behind her multiplied origins with a baroque tale that keeps both the baby and the bathwater.

After reading the DC book in question, in which Donna Troy follows her mother into the land of characters whose continuity is too confusing to be allowed to live, I thought it was worth publishing on the main site, and asked the author's permission to do so.
Now Donna was some sort of Diana avatar, a magical clone cursed to live many lifetimes of sorrow by a villainess who didn't understand that she hadn't actually cursed Diana herself.
I can see how the elimination of Donna Troy might be easier than explaining her origin.

Steel as far as I know doesn't know Donna Troy, and what Heinberg might have done instead of blither on about Themyscira, yet another Donna Troy origin, the killing of Maxwell Lord, etc. was to actually include a reminisce in the narration that is pertinent to the story.
Donna inexplicably giving Minerva the lasso is the only reason why Minerva possesses the device in the first place.
The point is that Giganta once again captures Donna because of the magic lasso; the magic lasso that she inexplicably gave to Barbara Minerva.

Donna, the flashbacked Titans and Longs, and the other Titans of Myth (ToM, to keep things from getting confusing) are just as golden-hued as the actual Tamaranean cannon fodder in the opening pages.
In this iteration, Donna's a goddess, the doxy of Coeus instead of Hyperion this time, and her old friends will have to get her back.
But she hasn't and Donna remembers everything of her past life (except maybe Kyle, but she forgot that the last time her memory got wiped, too; Rayner gets no help anywhere these days).

Donna works in the comics cos mostly she was used in the Teen Titans...
A Teen Titans movie is extremely unlikely so IMO Donna should stay on the printed page where she belongs.
If she were shown in a cameo on Themyscira (sp?) as a sister of Wonder Woman, or as someone who was supportive of Diana's views, and just shown on Themyscira in a cameo role, I wouldn't mind it.

Donna Troy as Wonder Girl, Amazon Warrior – If Wonder Girl is this strong as a 2 drop imagine what her cousin Wonder Woman is going to be like?
Donna Troy has some gaudy stats, but she doesn't impress me as much as she did the first time I saw her.
The flip side of this is that replaying Donna Troy on turn 3 gives you a 5/3 that can butt heads with most of your opponent's 3 drops, and an extra resource point to use on equipment.
