   Walsh's comments should seem a bit odd when you realize that he had the chance to hire Carlisle two years ago in Indiana.
   The thing that Walsh really liked about Carlisle was that Carlisle let it be known he not only wanted to be a coach but was committed to doing whatever it took to become one.
