		En 1982, durante un show de Black Sabbath en Newcastle, donde Joey DeMaio era técnico de bajo, éste conocio al guitarrista Ross the Boss y reclutando a Eric Adams y a Donny Hamzik formaron Manowar lanzando este disco como debut.
		"Shell shock" es el tema siguiente, que ya desde su comienzo viene pegando fuerte, con los acordes de la guitarra y la rapidez de Hamzik en la percusión, el siempre notable bajo y (en mi opinión) una de las mejores actuaciones de Adams a lo largo de su carrera.
		Ya entrada la canción The boss se marca un solo realmente bueno, dando entrada de nuevo al estribillo de la canción.
