		First released on DVD in 2000, Don't Look Back itself remains an interesting if somewhat self-conscious look at Dylan in the midst of his final all-acoustic tour (when the film was released in '67, he had already, and controversially, plugged in his Fender Stratocaster).
		The live performances in "Don't Look Back" are equally essential, if for no other reason that you are watching Dylan in Spring, 1965 (almost 40 years ago to the day!), a mere months before turning electric at the Newport Festival.
		From an audio perspective, the performances in "Don't Look Back" are very similar to the material covered in the 2 CD set "Dylan Live 1964", issued in Spring of 2004.

		If there's a more exhilarating, iconic and universally recognised documentary opening sequence than the one that kicks off Dont Look Back, D.A. Pennebaker's remarkable film record of Bob Dylan's 1965 English tour, his last as a solo performer, then I've yet to see it.
		Which would be a shame, as although a record of a concert tour, this is no concert movie - Pennebaker includes only as much or as little of a song as the scene needs, letting a couple run almost for their entirety but cutting away from others after only a couple of bars.
		The focus of the film is not Bob Dylan in concert, but an intimate look at a young musician on tour, coping with the pressures and responsibilities of fame.
