Doom 2 has been available for Palm OS, at least for the Tapwave Zodiac, for well over a month now.
It would be cool to see it on standar palm os devices, palms are capable of that and much more, just see the daity 3d engine used inmaster thief and the yeti 3d engine used in daedalus 3d, a developer could adquire daity 3d rights andmake a doom port or a clone for palm os.
Mobile Wizardly even developed a doom demo for palm os, using its deity 3d engine, but it isnt available to public, because of ID software.

I have a Palm z22, and I need to be able to transfer a file to a location on the palm's internal flash drive that the "Send to handheld" utiltiy won't do.
Specifically, it's the Doom I main wad file, for use with a port of doom to palm OS.
I already asked this on the PDA-street forums, and was directed to a Palm OS/Windows client and server system which didn't detect the Palm, and merely demanded that I install the palm software on the PC which, of course, failed.

You can either purchase Doom 2 from Tapwave or download the ZDoomZ emulator which can run both Doom and Doom 2 (you either need the shareware or registered PC version of Doom or the registered PC version of Doom 2).
This should be the Doom 2 icon that's in the SD card category of your Zodiac menu NOT the one that's on the Doom 2 MMC card.
ZDoomZ is an excellent emulator by Yoyo that runs both the PC versions of Doom and Doom 2 along with the Mod files in hi-res mode.

As great as Doom was back then Wolfenstein3D was more revolutionary.
Doom was out for the MS Smartphone a year and a half ago, there are now 3 ports of this game, and this ISNT the best one.
Doom and other ports and emulators and sh!t exist for all the systems, though ms 'smart'phones generally have the lowest amount/worst quality third party (and 1.) software available.
