I think her voice is very suitable for the character, and the character *is* and aging actress who's taking revenge on the new breed of young actresses.
I'm actually looking forward to Doris Roberts as Meers too - it's a shame that she won't be taking over in mid-February when Delta exits - that way I could see her interpretation of the role as well.
Meers is only demanding in the acting department and we all know that Doris is a great comedic actress (given the fact she won three emys for it).
