However, the material in the preceding paragraph will PROVE that the Michael who married Catherine Neff was NOT the son of Christopher and therefor we must look for the Michael who married Catherine Neff somewhere other than in the family of Christopher Stump.
The Catherine Neff who married Michael Stump in 1739 was born November 27, 1716 at Michelfeld, Germany, the first daughter and third child of Michael Neff and Anna Dorothea Saur.
This shows that the Catherine Neff who married Michael Stump in Pennsylvania had a brother named Leonard who came to America with her.

Evangelical Leaders Try to Unify Movement -- 06/11/1999
Catholics have a more sanguine view of salvation that allows for non-Christians – and even the non-religious – to enter heaven if they honestly follow the dictates of an informed conscience.
Despite Neff's comments, the doctrinal statement makes no claims on how to interpret the Bible, but does say that Scripture is "infallible." Evangelicals are divided on whether or not the Bible should be interpreted literally, as do some fundamentalists, or cultural factors be taken into consideration to understand the meaning.
Evangelicalism is made up of many different denominations and ministries that share the same conservative vision of Protestantism, but have been unable to unite to reach their goals.
