We drove to the national park and walk in what they called the ‘skywalk’, a kind of bridge over the trees and at the end of it, you feel you are a kind of Tarzan.
Once on the top, we turned left 4 km to arrive into a wonderful lookout place where we could enjoy the view of the national park from above.
Dorrigo town is small but very nice, the style of the houses makes you feel you are in western town film and any second John Wayne could appear in the town riding a horse.

 A Road Trip Outback Down Under (part 1 of 3)
We next went to New England National Park (part of the World Heritage Temperate Rain Forests Group).
The park is much more pleasant in the morning, as the feral children are still sleeping, and vast numbers of birds are active.
There was a TV at the Dorrigo Lodge, and we watched some silly australian children's show a couple of times in the mornings.
