Double exposing is a great way of restoring a sense of excitement to your photography.

Definitely a case of been there, done that, "Double Jeopardy" reminded me of so many other films I wasn't sure if the writers were paying homage or just taking the easy route by ripping them off.
You know going in where the film is headed, and despite a couple of minor side trips, the road has been paved with cliches and predictability.
Old fashioned and predictable, "Double Jeopardy" is the kind of film Hollywood used to make back in the 40's, with someone like Joan Crawford or Bette Davis as the wronged woman seeking revenge.

In fact, every alienated body in this film (which contains a visual depiction of the world's evolution and, later, a screenplay writer's increasingly frustrated attempts at conceiving and describing that visual depiction) could be considered a ghost or mutation or potential soul mate of another.
Their approach also makes this film not so much critic- or analysis-proof as booby-trapped to reveal a viewer's own fixations or flaws.

Orlando Weekly - Film Review - Double Jeopardy
"Double Jeopardy," an ultimately unsatisfying, openly manipulative thriller from Bruce Beresford, is as simplistic and single-minded as the emotion that motivates its heroine, portrayed by Judd in a two-note performance.
"Double Jeopardy," preceded by a trailer and television-ad campaign that practically revealed every major twist in the plot, opens on a note of serenity, as Libby and cute Matty relax on the waterfront, adjacent to the family's spacious wood-and-stone home.
But several action sequences, including Libby's watery escape from a car, her ram-rodding of several vehicles and a later scenario straight out of a horror movie, are tense and cleverly executed.
