  Douglas World Cruiser DWC
The Douglas World Cruisers, as they were named, could be equipped with wheels or pontoons, depending on the terrain from which they were operating.
Of the five Douglas World Cruisers built, the New Orleans is the only other survivor.
It is in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History and was on display at the United States Air Force Museum from 1957 to 1988, and subsequently at the Museum of Flying in Snata Monica, California.

Douglas, hungry for new orders and also for the prestige that such an aircraft would bring to the fledgling company, stated they could build such a machine in 45 days and for $23,721 upon signing of a contract.

Added the rest of the vinyl national markings (thanks Tom) and epoxied two of the lower wing CS struts to the CS/Fuselage.
I also added the various labels (Seattle, Martin, Harvey, Douglas DWC) to the fuselage.
All that is left is two more lower CS struts; four tail struts; rigging between the outer struts; attach the ailerons; epoxy the float struts to the floats; and than put the whole thing back together again.
