Sde Dov Airport (IATA Airport Code: SDV) is a municipal airport located in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Sde Dov (Dov Field) is named after DovHoz.
While the airport is conveniently located, it also sits on prime real estate in northern Tel Aviv near the Mediterranean coastline and is surrounded by residential neighborhoods, a fact which curtails its ability to expand operations.

On the other hand, during the war several thousand Jewish residents of Palestine were inducted into the Turkish army; a few of them were trained and appointed as officers and NCOs in the Turkish army.
Examples are Moshe Sharett, DovHoz (who later deserted to the British army), Alexander Aaronson, and Elimelekh Zelikovich (Avner); the latter eventually became a senior commander in the Haganah.
In the aftermath of the 1929 disturbances, and after two years of discussions among leaders of Zionist parties across the political spectrum, the Haganah was transferred to the joint authority of the Jewish Agency Executive and the Va'ad Leumi (National Council).
Arieh Sharon, Dov Carmi, Zeev Rechter, Pinchas Hueth, Josef Neufeld, Genia Averbuch Richard Kauffmann and Erich Mendelsohn are just some of the architects, who contributed to the local abundance of Bauhaus architecture.
Sharon, (no relation to the current prime minister)was known for his cooperative workers’ dwellings in Tel Aviv, work on many of the country’s hospitals and his early beginnings in kibbutz Gan Shmuel.

Thus the Haganah became a national military organization, subordinate to the nation's elected leadership.
In a diary note written on 26 March, Dov Joseph reported that he had had a long meeting with Abba Hushi, in which the latter reported on his meeting with the Sultan.
Ben-Gurion concluded that from Hushi's report it was not clear whether “the transfer of Druze is practical and realistic, but we must not neglect this chance.” He suggested that Hushi together with DovHoz should have a further meeting with al-Atrash and other Druze.
Hushi and Hoz had a further meting with al-Atrash, but when the question of transfer was raised, al-Atrash gave the impression that he was hearing it for the first time and he expressed apprehensions.(4)

It is not known if this country adopted the ICAO recommendation (Resolution A28-3) for the phase out of Chapter 2 airplanes.
