		Naval officers said that the confrontation in the Mulaitivu seas on the 24th instant took place while the Naval flotilla sailed from KKS to Trincomalee, where as the Defence ministry said that it happened when the Dovras went from trincomalee to KKS.
		These high speed Dovra gun boats had gone one behind the other when 5 to 9 small boats of the sea Tigers had carried out the attack and this has proved the Navy's inaccurate assessment of the sea Tigers.
		If this confrontation has happened unexpectedly the question arises as to where the sea Tigers were proceeding to with such high powered weapons fitted to their boats.

		Remains reposing at Coen's Funeral Home, Tubbercurry on Friday evening from 6 o'clock with removal at 7.30 to St. Attracta's Church, Tourlestrane arriving at 8 o'clock.
