		He didn't write a thing on it (except, presumably, the solos) because, allegedly, Ozzy thought the songs Zakk wrote were 'too Black Label', which was his loss really as the resulting BLS album (1919 Eternal) was a lot better than Down* To Earth.
		All the Sabbath albums recorded between 1970 and 1977 were classics and therefore his solo output has to be judged against this.

		The album ends with a couple more personal sounding songs "Alive" and "Can You Hear Them." The former starts out with a heavy groove, then slows for the bridge, then picks up again on the chorus.
		Overall the album is not bad but just doesn't match up to what people or expect from Ozzy and Zakk.
