The date of the jurisdictional transfer of the property to the TTC shall be the date that construction commences on the Downsview commuter parking lands (excluding the Allen Road connection) provided that construction commences in 2004.
At any time during the TTC’s occupancy of the lands, the City of Toronto can propose the redevelopment of the lands provided that the TTC’s 650 commuter parking spaces are integrated into the development at no cost to the TTC, such approval by the TTC not to be unreasonably withheld.

Downsview station was constructed in 1996, and it is the prettiest station in Toronto.
In a startling contrast to Downsview, Wilson is the ugliest and worst-planned station on the line, decorated with brownish-yellow paint and artificial plants, which inspire deep feelings of pity.
Let us not heap scorn upon the TTC for this cheapness, however, for it is this odd arrangement which brought us the wondrous moving sidewalks between the two sections.

 Eye Weekly - A house divided - 04.07.05
The premise of last week's cover story, an open letter to TTC Chair Howard Moscoe, was that the TTC had to change, regardless of whether it ever gets more funding from Ottawa or the province.
The TTC is divided into two quite different segments: the nine commissioners selected from city council, and the staff, headed by the general manager, Rick Ducharme.
So, while the TTC is interested in developing more, and they know the value of it, the incentive has not necessarily been there, because the money largely goes to the city.

The reason the phone may work in same spots of the TTC subway is because there are a few places in the Toronto area that have full in-building coverage which means that anywhere that you are in the building you have full digital signal.
The TTC does not have any agreements with any of the cell companies which is why there is no subway coverage.
The TTC is kind of stupid though about that, if they allowed coverage it could be a great revenue generating opportunity for them.

 Downsview Reach
In the Downsview Reach, only about 1 km of Mud Creek is traceable today, as the TTC yards, the Allen Road and Highway 401 have obliterate the rest.
Because the TTC yards and the Allen Road obliterated the original source streams shown on early maps and the area west of Wilson Heights Blvd. is not accessable, the best place to begin the walk is Wilson Heights Blvd. and Sunbeam Ave., just north of where the stream once crossed Wilson Heights.
