The DOWRA was established in the fall of 1996 to promote the ideals and importance of the use and reuse of wastewater.
DOWRA wants to inform homeowners, politicians, real estate agents, and the on-site industry of the importance of the need for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems.
DOWRA members represent every aspect of the industry from the site evaluator to the waste hauler.

If the course fees work out to be less than $700, any excess monies will be returned to he student.
If a student is not able to attend The Dowra for whatever reason, and has paid the $300 deposit, we will return the $300 deposit.
Note 1 - As to the increasingly high demand to attend this years Dowra, and to the very limited resources and facilities being available in Tarim, we are forced to restrict the numbers that can attend hence we seriously advise students to submit their application ASAP.

ANSWER: From our past experiences of arranging accommodation for families living outside of the Dowra lodging, and the many problems that were incurred in doing such, we are unfortunately not able to facilitate families coming to this year’s Dowra.
Due to the fact it is an intensive course and for the reason mentioned in the first FAQ we are unable to accept children.
However over the years the Dowra have never been refused visas, despite one of the very early Dowras, the visas were received so late that we had to reschedule the Dowra for the following month…however the past 3 years the Dowra has taken place as per schedule.
