 | | Hanging the crosses and the garlic and not inviting them in should have done the trick on all of them; then they could have killed the brides and Dracula would’ve been SOL with the feeding on the villagers. |
 | | Hey, the rest of the movie is illogical as hell, so why shouldn’t Drac act as if he hasn’t enough intelligence to survive three days as a vampire, much less several centuries. |
 | | Meanwhile, back at the Monster’s Lair, Van Helsing and Anna have a nice chat with the Monster, learning that the Monster, naturally, distrusts humans (except, apparently, for his papa) and that he is in fact a danger to mankind, but not for the reason most would think. |
