		DRAKESBORO, Ky. - The Tennessee Valley Authority has activated a third scrubber to significantly reduce emissions at a coal-fired power plant in western Kentucky, officials announced Friday.
		It's the seventh scrubber installed by TVA at its 11 coal plants throughout the Tennessee Valley to cut down on emissions.
		Aided by a $365 million-a-year rate increase in 2003, TVA will spend a total of $5.6 billion on clean air improvements to its coal plants by the end of the decade.
